Fitness Fiesta South Downs Leisure present another Fitness Fiesta at Worthing Leisure Centre on Sunday 2nd October, from 8am to 4pm. Launching new music for BODYPUMP, BODYSTEP, CX WORX, GRIT, BODYBALANCE and more along with FREESTYLE CLASSES including: PX90, Barre Fusion, Freestyle Spin, Schwinn, Fitness Test and other classes. Halloween Party Night! A creepy crypt, ghoulish games and lots of spooky music and dancing.... just some of the activities waiting for you this Halloween at Field Place. 'Allo 'Allo Comedy Dining Night Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once... Following on from the success of our last comedy dining night, Field Place in Worthing will be transformed in to the ‘umble French cafe from 'Allo 'Allo on Saturday 12th November, for a night to remember as Rene juggles the Gestapo, the Resistance, his secret affairs and his wife, Edith. Increase the Pressure! Worthing Leisure Centre is going to be replacing the hot water pipework over a 10 week period from September 26th onward. Thanks to a £121,000 investment from Adur & Worthing Council, this will mean new lighting, new ceilings throughout the corridors the pipes run and the hot water pressure will be improved. Although this will mean some inconvenience, the centre will still be open as usual for all your favourite activities as there will be no disruption to services.

GreenDreams Community Food and Greenspace Festival Field Place, Worthing On Sunday 2nd October, 10am to 4pm, the GreenDreams festival will be held at Field Place. A collaborative event led by community based groups from Adur and Worthing, it showcases green space initiatives and local food producers. It's a great opportunity to learn more about what's going on in your local area. FUN FACT OF THE MONTH... In May, more than 250 people came along to play Tennis for free at our Great British Tennis Weekend event held at Field Place, in conjunction with the Lawn Tennis Association. This proved to be a huge success and we will be looking to organise a similar event next year. Watch this space for more information.
