Green Flag Awards for Field Place

We are pleased to announce that Field Place has gained a Green Flag Award which recognises the best parks and green spaces across the country. The award boasts high standards of beautifully maintained grounds, excellent facilities, and its extensive wildlife.
However, plans to introduce Peacocks have been scrapped due to their ‘destructive nature’, particularly pecking cars, and their distinctively loud squark.
Jane Austen’s leading-lady returns home

Open-air theatre group, Chapterhouse, return to Field Place with Jane Austen’s classic ‘
Pride and Prejudice’ for what promises to be an unmissable evening of entertainment, high-emotion and drama.
Picnic on the picturesque lawns of Field Place Manor House, whilst immersing yourself in Austen’s best-known classic love story told on the open-air stage.

But the stage is where her heart is, performing all over the country and here in Sussex. She was also a Hove-regular on the singer-songwriter circuit, gaining local notoriety. Janna said;
“I am really excited to be performing in Worthing. I haven't been home much because I‘ve been very busy in the theatre. I’ve heard Field Place is beautiful and can't wait to perform so close to home.”
